Chairman’s Message

Greetings!

It is our great honor to host and cordially welcome you to "The Sixth Annual Meeting of the International Congress of Joint Reconstruction Middle East" (ICJR ME) from 22nd – 24th March, 2018 in Dubai. This annual meeting has steadily expanded and honed its focus and content since its inception six years ago. Today, it is a significant event in Dubai - ranked as the leading convention for reconstruction surgery in the Middle East, bringing together orthopedic experts from all over the world to enhance professional knowledge, gain new insights and exchange expertise.

The ICJR ME 2018 will feature three days of plenary lectures, cutting-edge symposia, panel discussions, keynote addresses and instructional course lectures by leading experts in orthopedics, oral/poster presentations and a dedicated faculty-delegate and Q&A forum at the end of every session. Also running parallel to the conference will be an orthopedic nursing program. This year, we are looking forward to the dynamic participation of the local junior surgeons by encouraging them to submit abstracts of any original scientific research – thereby awarding the junior surgeons with prizes for the best papers and podium presentations. We are also endeavoring to foster active research in the region by endorsing pertinent research approaches.

In line with our relentless pursuit for embracing innovative approaches and advancements, a major highlight at this year’s congress will be the dynamic participation of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) - with their prominent exhibit and illustrious speakers delivering instructional courses during the meeting. I hope you will avail yourselves of the opportunity to explore, network and learn together as we collaborate to provide an increasingly seamless, quality care experience for our patients and their caregivers. We are looking forward to your participation at this event and its unique approach to sharing knowledge and developing new approaches to the treatment of orthopedic disorders.

We are assured that this conference will provide us an opportunity to unveil the recent advances and researches that are being carried out in the field of orthopedics in the Middle East. It will also provide a platform for informative discussions and interactions as well as sharing knowledge, experience and to forge new collaborations though social activities during the conference.
